George D. Morgan
Mr. Morgan received a J.D. degree from Saint John’s University School of Law in 1998 and an M.S. in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1993. Additionally, Mr. Morgan attended New York University where he took numerous courses in advanced Computer Science.
Before becoming a patent attorney, Mr. Morgan worked for several years as a patent examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications in Class 705 (business methods). Mr. Morgan also has over a decade experience as a sofware engineer for a Fortune 100 company. During his career, Mr. Morgan has been associated with several major law firms, including the national law firm of Quarles & Brady, LLP; Oliff & Berridge, LLP in Alexandria VA; F. Chau & Associates in East Meadow, NY; and Lowenstein Sandler, PC in Roseland, NJ. He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office and is a member of the Arizona State Bar and New York State Bar.
Mr. Morgan has substantial experience drafting patent applications for large, Fortune 500 companies, as well as for many major research labs. Mr. Tena was Associate Director of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU). At ASU, Mr. Tena directed and managed construction and operation of a central heating and cooling plant, cogeneration plant (6 MW turbine, chillers & steam systems), Infrastructure, substations, campus fiber optic system, energy management automation, and building electronic systems.
Furthermore, Mr. Tena directed and managed the largest solar infrastructure installation for a university in the country (Approximately 20 MW) on building rooftops, parking structures, parking lots, and various canopies on campus.
